Residency Rotations

Anesthesia Rotation
The three-week Anesthesia rotation will provide residents with an overview of the scope of medical anesthesia and its application in dentistry.

Didactic Program
Weekly lectures and seminars, continuing education courses, treatment and planning sessions.

Emergency Medicine
Each general dentistry resident spends a three-week rotation in the emergency room.

Internal Medicine Rotation
Two weeks of rotation will be spent in the Outpatient Medical Clinic, where the dental resident is under the supervision of physicians in internal medicine and works with a nurse practitioner and medical residents.

Mini-Course in Physical Assessment
This two-week course will acquaint the non-physician health professional with aspects of obtaining a physical assessment.
