Connecticut Children’s and Hartford Hospital are dedicated to the defeat of Cystic Fibrosis (CF) individually, and within regional and international communities.
Until CF is cured, we are dedicated to helping each person with CF fulfill his or her maximal potential by providing exemplary care.
The advancement of clinical care requires the integration of education and research into comprehensive care plans for people with CF. We will provide innovative and expert clinical care to people with CF, within the context of their familial and social concerns.
Education provides the means to advance care. We will continuously educate our patients and families, our students, residents, fellows, colleagues, and ourselves through both formal didactic and informal teaching programs.
Research provides the knowledge to advance care. Recognizing that significant challenges exist in the present practice of care of CF, the Center is committed to scientific and clinical research to meet these challenges.
Through consummate patient care, broad-based educational programs, and clinical and basic research, the Central Connecticut Cystic Fibrosis Center strives to become a leader in the prevention and management of cystic fibrosis for both the international health care community and the local community-based patient population.
