The IPC has two broad research goals: to design, implement, and evaluate innovative interventions in the field, & to address the significant gap in the translation of evidence based interventions into practical community based programs and policy.

Education & Training

The IPC provides ongoing education and a wide range of training opportunities.

Community Outreach

The Injury Prevention Center provides community outreach in the form of many programs that address Domestic Violence, Adult Fall Prevention and a Gun Buyback Program.

Public Policy

The IPC public policy objective is to advance the field of injury and violence by promoting adoption of laws and regulations that mandate safe behavior.
