Bio

Dr. Paul Tortland, DO is double-board certified in both Sports Medicine and Regenerative Medicine. In practice for 30+ years, he specializes in non-surgical orthopedics, orthobiologics / regenerative medicine treatments such as PRP – Platelet-Rich-Plasma injections, Bone Marrow Aspirate and Adipose Stem Cell treatments, Prolotherapy injections, and Nerve Hydrodissection treatments. He is the first physician in southern New England to perform PRP injections in 2007, and the first in New England to perform both bone-marrow stem cell and adipose stem cell treatments in 2008. He is a current Associate Professor at Virgina Tech and UConn Health, and teaches and lectures worldwide.
