Bio

Dr. Paul Weigle is the Associate Medical Director for Ambulatory Services and oversees Joshua Centers Shoreline, Southeast and Mansfield; Young Adult and Adult Programs at Sachem House and Care Plus. He is Board Certified in both Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Before Natchaug, Dr. Weigle served children and adolescents at a not-for-profit social service agency and provided psychiatric evaluations for the Providence School Department for seven years.

Dr. Weigle graduated Magna Cum Laude from Dickinson College with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, and did his medical training at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He did postgraduate training at Harvard Medical School, including a medical internship, general psychiatry residency, and child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Weigle has served on the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Media Committee since 2003, and has presented on the effects of media on children at numerous national meetings and seminars.
