Dr. Lerner is very nice and does take the time to listen to your concerns and provide useful recommendations. She gave me a referral that I was desperately needing. Dr. Lerner is not my normal primary dr that I see in this facility, yet if possible I would consider changing to her rather than the one I currently have.

She helped me with my situation and fixed the issue of pain. She gave me suggestions and concerns and informed me of what might happen if the pain did not go away. When I got home I did what she said, and she solved the issue. I am grateful. The team at Hartford Healthcare makes you feel like they care. They listen well and seem genuinely concerned about what is going on.

My issue is getting to see my PCP. If it is a scheduled visit - into the future - that is fine. If I am not well and would like to see my PCP, that is not a high probability occurrence. The PCP might be available months from the request. Next the question is if I would care to see someone in the practice. Yes, that is preferable but most times, those doctors are also months away. So then it is suggested to go to HHC emergency. So I do that or end up at CVS Minute Clinic. So, why do I have a PCP again?
