Jennifer Worth, MD, FACS, is a thoracic surgeon with the Hartford HealthCare Cancer Institute.
Dr. Worth’s areas of interest include: minimally-invasive and robotic thoracic surgery; thoracic oncology; lung, pleural, esophageal, mediastinal and chest wall cancers; pleural effusions; pneumothorax; lung nodules; mediastinal masses; rib fractures and chest wall masses.
After earning a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from DePauw University, she received a medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine. She completed a residency in general surgery at the University of Nebraska and a fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery at The Ohio State University.
Board-certified in thoracic surgery, Dr. Worth is a member of the American College of Surgeons, American Medical Association, Association of Women Surgeons, Society of Surgical Oncologists, Society of Thoracic Surgeons and Women in Thoracic Surgery.
