Whether your C-section is planned or you simply want to feel more prepared, this virtual class will help you understand what to expect before, during and after a cesarean birth. Led by experienced Labor & Delivery nurses, the class will review what happens when you arrive at the hospital, what the operating room experience may look like, and what recovery can feel like in the first hours and days after birth. Patients will also learn how the care team supports bonding, feeding and recovery after a C-section. This one-hour class is offered virtually twice a month and includes time for questions, so patients can leave feeling more informed, confident and prepared.
