The Robinson Health Sciences Library supports the information and educational needs of the Hartford Hospital community with a comprehensive collection in clinical medicine, nursing, allied health, administration, geriatrics, gerontology and bioethics.
With over 10,000 textbooks, more than 3,000 unique full-text electronic titles, 1,500 print journals, and professional evidence based databases, the Robinson Health Science Library provides comprehensive coverage of the clinical literature, in Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Allied Health, Administration, Basic Health Sciences and Bioethics.
The Learning & Organizational Development (LOD) Collection is a collection of self-learning materials that include books, manuals, newsletters, articles, audiotapes, videotapes and CD-ROMs that are housed in the Robinson Health Sciences Library and may be checked out. These materials focus on the behaviors and skills that support the Hospital's Ten Values.
For patron convenience, a unique non-circulating CORE collection of reference textbooks are maintained in most of the clinical specialties and are available at all times.
