Hartford Hospital Department of Dentistry offers comprehensive and emergency care to patients.
The Department of Dentistry at Hartford Hospital is one of the seventeen clinical departments. The department is comprised of two sections: General Dentistry and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Each section offers a residency program (see Dental Residency Program).
The dental care is provided by two full time attending dentists, four general practice residents and oral and maxillofacial residents. The resident clinical activities are supervised by volunteer dentists in various dental specialties and volunteer oral and maxillofacial surgeons.
The department brings together veteran dentists and oral surgeons with highly-qualified dental residents and auxiliary staff including two full time dental hygienists, dental assistants, and receptionists.
