Nursing Research Grant (up to $1,500)
The Connecticut Nursing Research Alliance (The Alliance) is committed to advancing nursing research across the state of Connecticut. By fostering a collaborative environment and providing essential resources, The Alliance seeks to empower nursing professionals to explore new frontiers in research, ultimately enhancing the quality of care and improving health outcomes for communities across Connecticut and beyond. The Nursing Research Grant aligns with The Alliance's strategic goal of creating a culture that encourages and supports the conduct of nursing science. This grant mechanism supports nurse-led studies to advance the field of nursing science by funding innovative and impactful research that addresses timely, critical issues in patient and family care, nursing practice and/or education, and healthcare delivery.
The award provides up to one award per cycle, up to $1,500 for nursing research including research studies completed for a nursing degree. Therefore, the grant will only support the development of new nursing knowledge or evidence. Funds will not cover expenses incurred prior to the funding approval; no indirect costs are allowed.

This grant is available to support nurses looking to advance best practice and/or lead quality improvement initiatives in their practice area. This grant can be used for new or ongoing EBP or EBQI projects, including academic projects.

The Connecticut Nursing Research Alliance (The Alliance) is excited to offer a Nursing Dissemination Award designed to enhance the visibility and impact of nursing scholarly work in local, regional, national or international forums. This award aims to support initiatives that effectively communicate nursing project findings to a broader audience. By promoting the dissemination of innovative and evidence-based nursing projects, The Alliance is committed to igniting the interest and fostering the passion for the scholarly work of nursing across Connecticut and beyond.
This Nursing Dissemination Award supports Connecticut nurses (RNs and APRNs) to disseminate their scholarly work at local, regional, national or international conferences or through publication. Funds can be used toward conference fees (including printing costs), travel/hotel costs (no first or business class travel), publication, or open-access publication fees. Costs related to food, alcoholic beverages, or other such costs are not covered with this award.
