LIFE STAR is a critical care helicopter service which responds to and provides air transport for a variety of patients who require care at a tertiary care facility.

The LIFE STAR crew consists of a flight nurse, flight respiratory therapist, pilot, mechanic and communication specialist.

PUBLIC NOTICE

The Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems will conduct an accreditation site visit of LIFE STAR on October 11 – 12, 2021. The purpose of the site visit will be to evaluate the program’s compliance with nationally established medical transport standards. The site visit results will be used to determine whether, and the conditions under which accreditation should be awarded to the program. Click here for more details.
