Through the years, the programs in Hartford Hospital's School of Allied Health had become some of the most successful and innovative courses of study in their respective specialties, providing graduating students the opportunity to pursue challenging careers in the healthcare field.

Manchester Community College/Hartford Hospital Surgical Technology Program

Classes begin Fall 2017

The Surgical Technology associate degree program provides education and training in surgical technology, a healthcare specialty whose practitioners are members of a surgical team, trained to work primarily in the operating room in cooperation with surgeons and nurses.
Surgical technologists prepare the operating room for use, maintain a sterile environment, hand instruments to the surgeon, maintain records and assist with patient care.

Application Deadline is July 28, 2017

Completed applications should be submitted to the STEM Division Office in the Learning Resource Center, Room A237 at MCC. There is a drop box outside if the office is closed.
