The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is one of six clinical areas of excellence at Hartford Hospital.
It is comprised of five points of service:

Services span the spectrum from normal obstetrical care through complicated cancer care. There is a strong commitment to community outreach and outcomes research. Patient satisfaction is a key focus, as is continuous improvement.
The department's vision is to create an innovative, patient-centered women's health system that continuously improves quality and utilizes resources cost effectively.
